A prayer vigil for Joann Catherine Kelly, 81, of Hennessey, will be 7 p.m. today, Oct. 27, 2008, at St. Jospeh's Catholic Church. Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008, at St. Joseph's. The Rev. Roberto Quant will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home, Hennessey.
 
She was born Oct. 13, 1927, in Hennessey to Lee Albert and Catherine Roder Streck and died Friday, Oct. 24, 2008, at Countrywood Assisted Living Center, Kingfisher.
She graduated from Hennessey High School in 1945. She married Irvin Frank Kelly June 9, 1947, in Hennessey. She worked many years in the cafeteria at Hennessey Elementary School. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and St. Joseph's Altar Society.

Surviving are one daughter, Cathy Holsted of Bella Vista, Ark.; two sons, Charlie Kelly of Odessa, Texas, and Jeff Kelly of Yukon; one brother, Albert Streck of Hennessey; two sisters, Pauline Waldburger of Asheville, N.C., and Margaret Skoda of Waukomis ; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, one infant son, one brother, two sisters and one granddaughter.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to charity of donor's choice.
