Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home, Hennessey.
Adella was born in Hennessey on Aug. 4, 1925, to Joseph and Anna Simunek Hladik and died Sunday, Dec. 7, 2014, at Integris Bass Pavilion in Enid. She married Frank Hladik in Bison on Nov. 20, 1945. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church of Hennessey, former member of St. Cammilus Catholic Church and Altar Soceity of Marshall and a former member of the Oklahoma No. 1 Polka Club.
Adella is survived by one son, Larry Hladik, and one daughter, Shirley Earnheart and husband Edmund, all of Marshall; six grandchildren, Jason Earnheart and wife Whitney, Valerie West and husband Justin, Troy Earnheart, Adrienne Jaramillo and late husband Clayton, Todd Hladik and wife Emily and Crystal O’Day; nine great-grandchildren, Jacob Jaramillo, Lucus Jaramillo, Noah Hladik, Anna Hladik, Grace Hladik, Abby Nichols, Matthew O’Day, Gabriel O’Day and Jory O’Day; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; two brothers, Joe Hladik and Henry Hladik; and one sister, Anna Taborsky.
Memorial donations may be made in her name to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church or Our Daily Bread, with the funeral home serving as custodian of the funds.
