Hennessey – Mrs. Lyman T. (Ellen Glynn) Hickman died early Sunday in a Tulsa hospital at the age of 99 years, 11 months and eight days.

Wake service will be at 7:30 PM Tuesday in Cordry and Son Funeral Home Chapel at Hennessey.

Funeral mass will be at 10 AM Wednesday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church with the Rev. John W. Scheller officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Mrs. Hickman was born November 26, 1879, in Olathe, Kansas, and was the oldest of 11 children which have all preceded her in death. She had moved with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William H. Glynn, to Lacy, Indian Territory, in 1894. On July 4, 1899, she married Lyman T. Hickman. The couple lived in the Lacy community all of their married life. He died April 15, 1969.

Mrs. Hickman was also the oldest living member in St. Joseph's Catholic Church at Hennessey, and a charter member of the Lacey Home Demonstration Club.

Survivors include a son, Ted, Hennessey; three daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Mary) McCloskey, San Francisco, California, Mrs. C. M. (Martha) Hatfield, Kingsland, Texas, and Mrs. O. R. (Catherine) Herron, Tulsa; 10 grandchildren; and 21 great – grandchildren.

Besides her husband, Lyman, she was preceded in death by a son, a granddaughter and one great-grandson.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the donors' favorite charity with the funeral home serving as custodian.
