Wake service for Frances Marie (Vaverka) Grace, 83, Hennessey, will be at
7:00 PM Tuesday February 2, 2016 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Mass of
Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday February 3, 2016 at St. Joseph's
officiated by Rev. Ed Menasco. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery under the
direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.
Frances was born east of Hennessey on September 20, 1932 to Jerry and Frances
Fuksa Vaverka and died Friday January 29, 2016 at Hennessey Care Center.
She married Earl Grace in Frederick on November 13, 1952. Frances was a member
of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, St. Joseph's Altar Society. She was an active
member of St. Joseph's Choir for many years.
She worked at Farm Bureau Insurance for several years before she retired.
Frances is survived by one son Mike Grace and wife Donna; one daughter Diana
Miller and husband Larry; one sister Anna Lightle all of Hennessey; four
grandchildren Michael Don Grace and wife Anna, Dusty Miller, Deanna Michelsen
and husband Tim, Frances Streck and husband Tyler; six great-grandchildren Tyler
Guffey, Dacie Guffey, Emma Grace, Gracie Michelsen, Harper Streck and Brenden
Streck.
She was preceded in death by her husband Earl, one brother and one infant
sister.
Memorial donations may be made in her name to Calvary Cemetery Fund with the
funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.
