Recitation of the Rosary for Luis Gonzalez, 15 will be at 7:00 PM Thursday January 3, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Mass of ChristianBurial will be at 10:00 AM Friday January 4, 2019 at St. Joseph’s officiated by Rev. Ed Menasco. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.
Luis was born in Kingfisher on December 4, 2003 to Luis Gonzalez and Ana Maria Alvarez and died Tuesday January 1, 2019 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
Luis was a student at Hennessey Middle School and participated in basketball, football, power lifting, track, and baseball. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
He is survived by his parents Luis Gonzalez and Ana Maria Alvarez; three sisters Jacqueline Gonzalez, Denise Gonzalez, Ana Caren Gonzalez; one brother David Gonzalez; paternal grandparents Luis Gonzalez, Hermenlinda Alaniz; maternal grandfather J Nieves Alvarez; special cousin Sebastian Gonzalez, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Luis was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Maria Perez; great
aunt Margarita Perez, and great-grandfather Felipe Alaniz.
