Sep 22, 2008Mass of Christian burial for Virgil J. Fuxa, 79, of Kingfisher, formerly of Marshall, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2008, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. The Rev. Roberto Quant will officiate.Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangments are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home, Hennessey.The casket will be open at the church one hour prior to the service.He was born Jan. 19, 1929, in Bison to John and Mary Musil Fuxa and died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008, in Oklahoma Heart Hospital, Oklahoma City.
Surviving are three sons, Greg Fuxa of Loyal, Gary Fuxa of Enid, and Daniel Fuxa of Breckinridge; two daughters, Nancy Morgan of Enid and Joan Winter of Hitchcock; one sister, Evelyn Traynor of Enid; two brothers, Benny Fuxa of Bison and Henry Fuxa of Marshall; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise, one daughter, one brother and one sister.
