Enid News & Eagle
1 September 2018

Our mother was born on a farm near Lovell, Oklahoma, 25 October 1931. Her parents were Urby and Gertrude Staggs. She went to school at Marshall and Hennessey High School, where she graduated with the class of 1949. On 3 May 1950, she married our dad Leonard Fuksa. They moved to Enid in 1960.
Mom worked at several different jobs, including One Hour Martinizing, TG&Y, Tasty Freeze, and Kmart. She enjoyed all the friendships she made while she was employed. She tried to keep in touch with friends until she was no longer able to.

After daddy died in 1997, mom decided she wanted to spend the rest of her life with Wilfred Vaverka in Independence, Kansas. They enjoyed many years together.

Mom is survived by her children, Judy Diel and Jim, Kaye Hudgens and Donnie; and grandchildren who gave her great joy: Zach and wife Tamika, Melissa and husband Darrol, Makayla and husband Derrick; great-grandchildren: Ryan and William Bonniksen, Libby Booze, Cooper Shreck, and Jessica Troutt and husband Jonathan.

A graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. 8 September 2018, at the Hennessey Cemetery, next to daddy.

A Celebration of Love will be held at Brown-Cummings Recreation House, 418 W. Maple, Enid, OK. It is right next door to the funeral home. Please come join us.

Mom was preceded in death by her parents, husband Leonard, seven brothers and sisters.

Mom and Dad enjoyed all of their friends so much. They were active in square dancing, bowling, boating and Saturday night card parties.
We want to thank everyone who contributed to their wonderful life. Love, Judy and Kaye.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Drummond Band Boosters, P.O. Box 265, Drummond, OK 73735.
