Recitation of the Rosary for Leroy W. Fuksa, 85, will be at 6:30 PM Wednesday June 24, 2026 at Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday at Calvary Cemetery.

Leroy was born on the family farm northwest of Hennessey on November 19, 1940, to John M. and Christina Janky Fuksa and died Friday June 19, 2026, at Hennessey Care Center.

He married Ruth Winters in Hennessey September 9, 1961. 


Leroy is survived by three sons, Todd Fuksa and wife Gina, Darin Fuksa and wife Dana, David Fuksa and wife Katrina, one daughter Dana Ashcraft and Michael Drake; fifteen grandchildren, and twenty great-grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Ruth, one son Mark Fuksa, one brother Leonard Fuksa, one sister, Leona Melton, two grandchildren Laryn Fuksa and Bradyn Fuksa.


Memorial donations may be made to the Community Action Team with the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.
