Double Services are
Held Here Saturday
Double funeral services were held Saturday morning for Mrs. Frances
Fuksa, 57, and her son Frank, 30,
in St. Joseph's church here.
Mrs. Fuksa was found dead Wednesday evening in the attic of her
daughter's home. She had apparently
taken her own life, while her daughter was in town.
Mrs. Fuksa had been making her home with her son in law and daughter,
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hladik since coming
home from the state hospital at Ft. Supply a short time ago.
Mrs. Hladik had gone to town for a time and on returning home was unable
to find her mother. She called her
brother, who resides close by. He discovered his mother in the north
end of an unfinished attic of the house. She
had apparently taken some soft wire that had been used as an inside
clothesline, fastened one end around her
neck and the other end over a rafter and then slid off a dresser.
Finding of a coroner's inquest was that she had taken her own life.
Thos participating in the inquest were: John
Cupps, Hennessey Justice of the Peace; Dr. Durrel Cordry, Hennessey;
sheriff Miles Williams and deputy , Raymond
Wall, Kingfisher.
Frank Fuksa, 30, her son, was found dead Thursday morning at his home by
his wife. He had apparently suffered
a heart attack.
Rosary services were held Friday evening in St. Joseph's church. Burial
was made in the Hennessey Cemetery.
Both Mrs. Fuksa and her son had resided in this community all of their
lives. Mrs. Fuksa's husband passed away in
1955.
Mrs. Fuksa is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Joe Hladik ,three
grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
Frank is survived by his wife, Adeline ; a son, Danny Frank, and a
daughter, Denise , all of the home, and one sister,
Mrs. Hladik.
