Royce Andrew Redinger, resident of Ponca City, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2010 in Stillwater. He was 27.
Royce was born February 23, 1983 in Monterey, California, the son of Paul and Gina Gann Redinger. He was a high school graduate of North Monterey High School, California. He then attended Oklahoma State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology and minored in Political Science. Royce was employed as a health care worker. His enjoyments included music, attending concerts, the beach, skateboarding and academic endeavors. Royce always had a smile on his face, loved life and lived it to the fullest.
He is survived by his parents, Paul and Gina Redinger of Salinas his paternal grandfather, John Redinger of Priest River, Idaho his maternal grandmother, Lawanna Gann of Ponca City brother Ryan Redinger and wife, Sally and nephew, Madden Redinger, of Idaho and brother Rick Redinger, Salinas one sister, Regan Redinger, also of Salinas his Uncle and Aunt, David and Gineta Gann Swanson of Ponca City and Uncle Jesse H. Gann III and wife, Debbie, of Gulf Breeze, Florida Uncle John Redinger and wife Kathy, Angles Camp, California several other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Marilyn Redinger and maternal grandfather Jesse Jay Gann.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 15, 2010 at the First United Methodist Church, 200 South 6th, Ponca City. Interment will be in the Tonkawa I.O.O.F. Cemetery under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.
