Mrs. Caroline Irby - Succumbs to Illness
Mrs. Caroline Irby, approximately 80 years of age, a pioneer resident of Tonkawa, passed away early this afternoon in the home of Mrs. W. D. Brown at 314 S. 3rd street in Blackwell.
Mrs. Irby had been in ill health for several years. She was the widow of Daniel T. Irby, who died here in 1929.
No funeral arrangements had been made at press time today. The body is at the McCafferty Funeral Home.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Edith Brown, Apache, Okla. and Mrs. Mary Kerns, Blackwell, and three sons, Dick, Lloyd and Fred Irby all of Tonkawa.
