Juanita Ingmire longtime Tonkawa resident went to her eternal home Sunday morning, June 30, 2019 in Blackwell with her family by her side. She was 80 years of age. Juanita was born September 28, 1938 in Tonkawa, OK to William and Mary Hoggatt Cain.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2019 in the Tonkawa First Baptist Church with Pastor Richard Thomasson. Interment will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Tonkawa, OK.
Juanita grew up in the Tonkawa area and graduated from high School 1956. She met the love of her life Wayne Ingmire and they were married July 26, 1962 in Miami, OK and he preceded her in death on May 6, 1995. Juanita enjoyed working at Mary’s Grill in Tonkawa for 40 years and then with her daughter for 15 years at Lunch N Munch she also worked for a time in Anthony’s. Juanita was an avid sports fan watching her OKC Thunder play, or OSU and OU sporting events. She also enjoyed working crossword puzzles and word searches going to the Casino, travelling with her siblings and spoiling her grandchildren.
Survivors include her 2 daughters; Shelly Dickover and husband David of Tonkawa, OK, Sherry Heimbach and husband Donnie of 3 sands, OK. 2 sons; Scott Ingmire and wife Theresa of Shawnee, OK, Kevin Ingmire of Tonkawa, OK, 2 brothers; Frank Cain of Ponca City, OK, Homer Cain and wife Ginger of Marland, OK 3 sisters; Pearl Hartzell of California, Wanda Voegele of Newkirk, OK, Ella Eyre of Tonkawa, OK. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and numerous step grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, 6 brothers and 2 sisters.
