Oscar Carl Forshee Dies at Sulphur
Tonkawa, Feb. 26--Oscar Carl Forshee, 47-year old Tonkawa resident, died about 2 o'clock this afternoon of heart disease at the Veteran's Hospital in Sulphur where he had been receiving treatments for the past two weeks.
Forshee had lived in Tonkawa since 1920 and had been employed as a barber.
He is survived by his widow, Hazel; a daughter, Rosalee, and a son, Van Carl, all of Tonkawa, his father, J.A. Forshee of Blackwell, a brother, Walter of Ponca City, and two sisters, Mrs. R. L. Lindauer of Oklahoma City and Mrs. Barton Gilcrease of Tulsa.
The body will be brought to Tonkawa and will be in charge of the McCafferty Funeral Home.
