May 29, 1952 - August 20, 2019

John Michael "Mike" Bray, age 67, of Tonkawa, Oklahoma passed away August 20, 2019 at Integris Hospice House, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 1 pm at the First Presbyterian Church at 109 S. 4th , Tonkawa OK with Rev. Don Tapp and Rev. Phil Irwin officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Tonkawa.

Mike was born on May 29, 1952 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Lonnie M and Marie (Blubaugh) Bray. He grew up in Tonkawa and Enid OK. Mike graduated from Enid High School in 1970. He earned his bachelor's degree from Southern Illinois University and worked for the Oklahoma Army National Guard for 22 years. He served in the following cities in Oklahoma: Blackwell, Cherokee, Altus and Oklahoma City and retired from the Oklahoma National Guard in 1994. He loved OU football, Chicago Cubs baseball, and the GOP. Mike enjoyed playing golf with family and friends. He served as the President of the American legion Post 71 for several years until his health declined.

Mike is survived by his father, Lonnie Bray of Tonkawa, sister, Susan Green of Sand Springs, brother, Lonnie (Wendy) Bray Jr. of Edmond, his sons Mike (Carrie) Bray Jr. and Jason (Angie) Bray of Piedmont, his grandkids Stone, Aubrey, Cami, Emma and Beckham and many cousins, nephews, and one niece. He is preceded in death by his mother, Sally and brother Mark.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Larry Bray, Kenny Bray, Gary Bray, Glen Bray, and Lonnie Bray Jr.
