John Michael Baum, formerly of Tonkawa, Oklahoma, died July 15, 2020, in Integris Health –Edmond at the age of 76 years.

John Michael Baum was born on May 30, 1944, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, to Jacob Emil and Vera (Stein) Baum.

He was a champion for the underdog as an attorney. He loved boating, going to the lake, and visiting the ocean in his travels. He relished in watching and reading about history and getting lost in a Louis L'Amour novel.

He is survived by his two children, Jacob Theodore Baum and Bethani Michel Baum.

A graveside service is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 24th in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Tonkawa.
