Elizabeth Ann (Rademacher) Mitchell, 96, of Ponca City, OK went home to be with her Savior, mom, dad, sister, husband, and son, Friday, February 4, 2022.
She was born July 31, 1925, to Fred and Kathryn Rademacher in LeSueur, MN. They later moved to Kingfisher, OK where they raised their two daughters. "Betty", as her dad affectionately called her, met her husband, Keith, during her senior year in high school. When he was drafted in WWII and stationed in California, she moved there after graduation, married, and worked until moving back to Oklahoma. She worked and lived on her wages,and saved his allotment and paid cash for their first house in Kingfisher.
Through their 64 years of marriage, they worked together most of the time until Keith's health forced them to seek an easier living. They both worked in electronics at different places. They built their retirement home on Lake Hawkins in Hawkins, TX, where they lived until her sister's health drew them back to Oklahoma. They settled in Ponca City, where she lived until she passed.
She is survived by one daughter, Janice King and husband Dwight of Simsboro, LA, four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and ten great-great grandchildren.
Betty's funeral service will be 10:00 AM Friday, February 11, 2022, at the Northeast Baptist Church in Ponca City. Burial will follow at IOOF Cemetery in Tonkawa, OK.
