Earl Franklin Green, 87, of Ponca City, OK, left this life on May 3, 2022. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Trout Funeral Home Chapel in Tonkawa, with Rev. Tom Howard officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Tonkawa, 505 Thunderbird Road, Tonkawa, OK 74653.
Earl was born on March 28, 1935, in Tonkawa, OK, to Earl Leo & Teresa Mary (May) Green. He was raised in Tonkawa and attended Northern Oklahoma College. He married Sue Barnhart on June 27, 1958 at the Tonkawa Christian Church. They had 2 daughters and were happily married for 63 years. He later served in the National Guard. He worked 27 years at Conoco as an Accountant.
Some of Earl's favorite things were golfing, making sure his lawn was immaculate, snowbirding in Arizona where he had many close friends from all over the world and loved giving guidance to his grandsons, nieces and nephews. He was the rock of the family and will be greatly missed.
Earl is survived by his wife Sue, of the home; daughters, Lisa Hadden and her husband, Jess, of Ponca City OK, Dara Tatum and her husband, Matt, of Edmond OK; grandchildren, Colt Fuller, of Los Angeles, CA, and Dalton Tatum, of Edmond, OK; brother, Bob Green, of McPherson, KS, and several nieces, nephews and family members. He was preceded in death by his parents.
