Monday, February 17th, 1958 - Friday, December 1st, 2023
A graveside service for Ernest Randall "Randy" Gattis, age 65, of Enid, will be 1:00 pm, Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at the Tonkawa IOOF Cemetery with Reverend Vernon Lee officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.
Ernest was born February 17, 1958 in Blackwell, Oklahoma to Thurman and Ethyl Rey (McLaughlin) Gattis, and passed away Friday, December 1, 2023 in Enid.
He attended Blackwell High School, later attending Okmulgee Tech where he received a degree in Diesel Mechanics. He moved to Enid to be closer to family, and made his permanent home there.
Ernest is preceded in death by his father, Thurman Gattis and mother, Ethyl Rey Gattis. He is survived by two sisters, Kathy Juneau and husband Paul; and Susan Cerny, both of Newcastle, Oklahoma; as well as nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
