Clara Louise Furber
October 1, 1930 ~ October 29, 2022 (age 92)
Clara Furber, 92, beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Sister, was called to her eternal resting place on October 29, 2022. She entered this world on October 1, 1930, in Tonkawa, Oklahoma, born to Loyd Sylvester Myers and Emma Caroline Kitchen Myers.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 1, 2022, in the Tonkawa Odd Fellows Cemetery with Pastor Josh Reese officiating. Visitation will be at Grace Memorial Chapel Monday, October 31, 2022, with the family in attendance to receive friends and relatives from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Clara grew up in Tonkawa and attended the Tonkawa school system. She met the love of her life, Harry L. Furber and they were married and made their home in Tonkawa. She worked for Conoco for 40 years as a Tax Clerk. She was a past member of the Tonkawa First Christian Church and Christian Life Center. During her early years Clara enjoyed Fishing and Camping, Gardening, and crocheting.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters: Kathi Martin and husband John of Bartlesville, OK, Debbie Johnson and husband Billy of Tonkawa, OK, Sisters: Judy Esch and husband John of Tonkawa, OK, Carolynn Tidwell of Ponca City, OK and One brother: Jim Myers of Falls Church, Virginia, also surviving are numerous Grandchildren, Great grandchildren, Great Great grandchildren and Nieces and nephews.
Clara was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harry Furber, Brother-in-law, Roy Tidwell and sister, Ellen Teten.
