Donna Deem
January 5, 1931 - March 2, 2024
Donna June Deem, 93, of Tonkawa, OK; died on March 2, 2024. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 505 Thunderbird Rd, Tonkawa, OK, 74653.
Donna was born on January 5, 1931, in Sterling, KS, to Glen and Coral (Bossing) Timbers. She grew up in Sterling. The family moved to Wichita, KS, for two years, before returning to Sterling. She graduated from Sterling High School in 1949. Donna married Dwight Deem on March 25, 1949, in Sterling, KS, and moved to Oklahoma that summer. She and Dwight farmed for 50 years. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Donna was a member of Christian Life Church, and the Tonkawa Garden Club. She and Dwight were also members of 2 car clubs, and spent many summers traveling to car shows in several states.
Donna is survived by: children, David Deem and his wife, Kathy, of Folsom, CA , Gary Deem of Arlington, TX, Sherri Littlefield of Blackwell, OK, Lori Muegge and her husband, Keith, of Tonkawa, OK; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by: her husband, Dwight; son-in-law, Kit Littlefield; grandchild, Kendra Deem; parents, Glen and Coral Timbers; and brother, William Timbers and his wife, Peggy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christian Life Church, 205 Thunderbird Rd, Tonkawa, OK 74653.
