Mass of Christian Burial for Regina Ann Switzer, 81, Ponca City resident, will be held on Thursday morning, June 2, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Kevin Ratterman, Celebrant. Committal prayers and interment will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Ponca City, under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service and Cremation Directors. Rosary will be held on Wednesday evening, June 1, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Regina was born on March 11, 1935 in Ponca City, the daughter of Scott and Katherine Langan Gilchrist, and passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at her residence. She was raised and educated in Ponca City, graduating from St. Mary’s Catholic School with the class of 1953. Regina went to work for Conoco in the 1970‘s and worked as a Key Punch Operator, later moving to Houston and retiring in 1994. Regina returned to Ponca City in 2003 where she was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Survivors include sons, Charles M. and wife Song Cha Switzer of Killeen, Texas, Kevin E. and wife Robin Switzer of Jenks, Oklahoma and Timothy L. Switzer of Killeen, Texas; daughters, Teresa and husband Jimmy Strome of Ponca City, Sheri Yetter and partner Donnie Jordon of St. Louis, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Jason Yetter, Heather Miller, Jeremy Culver, Melissa Bell, Lauren Switzer, J.B. Switzer, and Amber McCombs; sixteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. numerous nieces and nephews..

Regina was preceded in passing by her parents and brother Denny.

The family has selected, memorial contributions may be made payable to St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Stittsworth’s coordinating.
