Patricia Ann Murray Strawn passed away peacefully in Ponca City, Okla. on July 2, 2017.
She was born on Sept. 18, 1954 in Ponca City to Thomas Joseph and Mary Ann Murray. She graduated from Ponca City High School in 1973. Patricia married Rick Strawn on Dec. 16, 1983 in Newkirk, Okla. Patricia worked at Ponca City Regional Medical, Conoco Phillips and retired from Walmart in 2014, after 17 years of dedicated customer service. Patricia was a loving and caring mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending her time gardening, crocheting and visiting family. She will always be remembered for her infectious laugh and beautiful smile. She was a kind and gentle spirit who loved everyone and never met a stranger.
She is survived by two daughters, Denise and husband Zach Wilson of Chickasha, Okla., Tiffany and wife Tara Strawn of Ponca City, and son Ricky Strawn, Jr., also of Ponca City, in addition to three grandchildren, Natalie Marie, Kylie Ann, and Kenzie Lee. Also surviving are two sisters, Betty and husband Steve Scott of Las Vegas; Marilyn and husband Ray Hoffman of Glencoe, Okla.; two brothers, Thomas and wife Christie Murray and Mike Murray, all of Ponca City.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, David Murray and Dennis Murray; and a sister, Coleen Murray.
Patricia will be laid to rest in a private family ceremony at St Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Ponca City.
