Lisa Ann DePriest-Giager, 51, passed away Friday, July 30, 2021 at her home in Fairview, OK. Lisa was born December 21, 1969, in Pasadena, California, to Sidney and Jeannie (Brown) DePriest. Lisa graduated from Ponca City High School in 1988. Lisa was married in 1992, to Damon Kyle Owens and to this union was born two children, Chance Kyle Owens and Caleb Hunter Owens. Lisa was remarried in 1998, to Darren Sloan and to this union was born one child, Cade Lee Sloan.

Lisa worked tirelessly as a Paraprofessional in Ponca City High School, Canton Public School, and Fairview Public School. Her impact in forever changing the lives of children is immeasurable. Lisa lived a love-filled life and had a gravitational pull to her personality like no other. She most enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, enjoying the outdoors, and dancing shamelessly on her back deck. She loved to decorate for holidays and celebrated everyone and every day with great passion. Lisa was a beautiful, kind, and compassionate grandmother, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to so many. She will be deeply missed.

Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Sidney Hugh DePriest, brother, Matthew DePriest, maternal grandmother, Mary (Hairgrove) Brown, and paternal grandparents, Howard and Ann (Rafferty) DePriest.

Lisa is survived by her husband, Danny Giager, of Fairview, OK; mother, Jeannie DePriest-Kammiller of Fairview, OK; brother, Heath DePriest of Houston, TX; three children, Chance Owens of Enid, OK, Caleb Owens of Stillwater, OK and Cade Sloan of Ponca City, OK; grandchildren, Brinnlee and Asher Owens.

A Rosary Service will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021, at 6:00 PM at the Trout Funeral Home Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Zak Boazman officiating. Those unable to attend the Mass of Christian Burial, may attend virtually on the Trout Funeral Home website, www.troutfuneralhome.com and click on the live-stream or toolbar icon on the top right corner after 9:45 AM. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends and family are welcome to pay their respects at the funeral home on August 6, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Casket bearers will be: Chance Owens, Caleb Owens, Cade Sloan, Heath DePriest, Haydn DePriest, and Tim DePriest . Honorary casket bearers will be: Austin Klumpp and Joel Kassen.

Memorial donations may be made in Lisa's honor to Opportunity Center Inc., 3007 N. Union, Ponca City, OK 74601. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601.
