Anna Lynn Durr, 92, resident of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away on May 12, 2018 at Via Christi Nursing Home in Ponca City.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 10:30 am on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 with Father Carson Krittenbrink officiating. St. Francis Xavier choir of Stillwater, Oklahoma will be providing the music for the liturgy. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. A family visitation will be held from 6:30-7:30 pm on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Trout Funeral Home & Crematory in Ponca City.
Anna Lynn was born on May 12, 1926 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She graduated from Stillwater High School and attended college at Oklahoma State University. Anna Lynn was a wonderful mother, wife, and friend. She was an accomplished vocalist and served as cantor and choir director at St. Mary’s for many years.
Survivors include her daughters, Saundra and Margaret Durr and many kind and loving friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert M. Durr, her parent’s, Tilman and Lucille Bocock of Stillwater, Oklahoma and brother Alman Bocock of Monte Vista, Colorado. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 707 East Ponca Avenue, Ponca City, Oklahoma. The family of Anna Lynn Durr wishes to thank Via Christi and Hospice of North Central Oklahoma for their kindness.
Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory in Ponca City.

Albert M. “Bob” Durr, Jr., Ponca City resident, died June 5, 2005. He was born on May 22, 1923. A vigil service will be held at 7pm on Thursday June 9th in the chapel of the Trout Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10am on Friday June 10, 2005 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. John Michalicka, Celebrant, officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife Anna Lynn, of the home; two daughters, Saundra Ann Durr of Stillwater and Dr Margaret Louise Durr of Centerton, Arkansas and three sisters.
He was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Mary’s Catholic Church Music Department, 421 S. 7th, Ponca City, OK 74601.
