Guadalupe "Lupe" Aguirre, resident of Ponca City, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at her home. She was 67.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10AM, Friday, September 16, 2011 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. Kevin Ratterman, celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. A Vigil Service will be held on Thursday evening at 7PM at the Trout Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Dick Robinson, presiding. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.

Lupe was born on April 12, 1944 to Pablo Lujan and Juanita (Rincon) Lujan in Zacatecas, Mexico. She married Arquimedes Dickinson in 1963 in Juarez, Mexico. Lupe was a homemaker all her life where she raised five children. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, crocheting, watching her grandchildren at any sporting event, and was the greatest cook. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her family. She was a lifetime member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband Arquimedes Dickinson of the home; five children: Jose Aguirre and his wife Marilu of Liberal, KS, Chito Aguirre and his wife Kim of Van Alsytne, TX, Cholis Pando and her husband Maurilio of Ponca City, OK, Amandi Garcia and her husband Gabriel of Oklahoma City, OK, and Peta Trenary and her husband Ryan of Edmond, OK; 14 grandchildren; one great grandson; sisters: Carmen Rocha of Lake Elsimore, CA, Velia Jimenez and her husband Juan of San Diego, CA, Maria Esperza and her husband Jesus of Commerce City, CO, Manuela Ibarra and her husband Jose of Denver, CO, Melena Torres of Springville, AZ, and Juanita Senteno and her husband Enrique of Westminister, CO; and brothers: Jesus Lujan and his wife Rosalinda of Irvada, CO, and Pedro Lujan and his wife Rosa of San Jose, CA.

Casketbearers will be Trent Goldsmith, Brent Goldsmith, Devin Aguirre, Zachary Pando, Kyle Crilly, and Andrew Crilly.

Honorary casketbearers will be Dean Anthony, Pat Zehr, Ron Wittwer, and Darrell Anthony.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 408 S. 8th, Ponca City, OK 74601 or to Hospice of North Central Oklahoma, 1904 N. Union, Suite 103, Ponca City, OK 74601.
