Tommy Hunt
June 22, 1955 - February 23, 2025
Loren Thomas "Tommy" Hunt, 69, of Ponca City, OK, left this life on Sunday, February 23, 2025. Viewing with the family present will be between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm, Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Trout Funeral Home. A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, February 28, 2025, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will immediately follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK, 74601.
Tommy was born on June 22, 1955, in San Diego, CA, to Fred W., Sr. and Barbara (Caldwell) Hunt. He attended Ponca City High School. Over the years, Tommy worked for many companies. He started at Rochelle's Grocery Store when he was 10 years old, then began delivering newspapers at age 12. He was a car hop at A & W, and harvested wheat for Fred Ahring. At 17, he began working for Smith Gruner, then moved on to Tonkawa Tank. He spent 12 years at Parkem, 22 years at Carbon Black, and finally retired from Phillips 66. Tommy was also a member of Pipefitter's Local Union 430.
Tommy is survived by: his wife, Karen of the home; son, Jackson Hunt of the home; daughter, Tina Hunt and Questa Hazen-Hunt; sisters, Betty Hendricks and her husband, Steve, and their child, Brea Hendricks, Colleen Tucker and her husband, Rick Galvan, their children, Tiffany Gagliostro and husband, Garett, Matthew Tucker, Eric Tucker, and his wife, Lacey; brother, Jesse Hunt and his wife, Debbie, their children Kenda Ward and her husband, BJ, Robert Hunt and his children, Summer Tapp and her husband, Brandon, and Amber Hunt; brother-in-law, Delos Cloud and his children, Daniel Cloud and Gary Cloud and his wife, Jill; numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, family members and friends. Loren is preceded in death by: his parents, Fred W and Barbara Caldwell Hunt; brother Fred W Hunt, Jr.; sister, Donna Cloud and maternal grandparents William T. and Georgia Clark.
Pallbearers will be Rocky Caldwell, Grant Pouland, Deckel Daniel, Jared Licklighter, Ashton Ward and Tyler Licklighter. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gary Cloud and Daniel Cloud.
