September 8, 1955 - October 12, 2022

Thomas "Tommy" Curran of Tulsa, OK, passed away on October 12, 2022. He was 67 years old. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at Trout Funeral Home Chapel, Deacon Dick Robinson officiating. Burial will immediately follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Ponca City. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home& Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave., Ponca City, OK 74601.

Tommy was born on Sept. 8, 1955 to Thomas "Bud" and Jean (Rutledge) Curran in Ponca City. As an adult, he lived at Memorial House in Tulsa, OK. He was a devoted country music fan. He loved his stuffed animals, giving high-fives and being read to. He also loved the Cartoon Network and often enjoyed it with friends. A true Oklahoman, Tommy represented the state with a wardrobe and room that included University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University memorabilia.

Tommy is survived by: his mother, Jean Curran; sisters and their husbands, Linda and Mike Couvillion, Dana and Joe Chouteau, Betty and Paul Powell, Kelley and Sid Fitter, Patricia and Doug Blake, and Nancy and John Riggins; brother-in-law, Mike Kassen and his wife, Delene; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to his large Curran family, Tommy also was loved by his Tulsa family - Candace Crook, Dajuan Wilkerson and Bridget Burns. These devoted caregivers provided him support for several years.

Tommy was preceded in death by: his father, Thomas "Bud" Curran; sisters, Mary Curran Kassen and Kay Curran; brothers, Richard and Michael Curran; nephews Daniel Powell and Jayson Carter.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Opportunity Center, 3007 N Union St, Ponca City, OK 74601.
