Joyce C. Warren, 73, of Ponca City, OK, passed away Dec. 24, 2013 at Ponca City Nursing and Rehab.
Joyce was born on January 17, 1940 in Crozet, VA to Randolph and Virginia James Sandridge. Joyce grew up in Washington, D.C., graduating from Chamberlain H.S. in 1958. She married Joseph Rawlings on January 25, 1958. To this union, 3 sons were born Joseph, Jr., Michael and Rick. Joseph passed away on December 14, 1968. Joyce moved to Sacramento, CA in 1971 where she met Donald Warren and they were married on March 19, 1973. They moved to Harrisonburg, VA in 1977. In 1981, they moved to Ponca City. She attended the Nazarene Church and was Office Manager for Ponca Finance retiring in January 2006.
Joyce was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph, parents, Brother Earl, 4 sisters Christine, Ann, Shirley and Nancy. 1 niece Patsy and nephews Danny, Johnny and Dale.
Joyce is survived by her husband Donald, sons Joseph Rawlings, Jr. of OKC, Michael Rawlings of Ponca City, and Rick Rawlings of East Millinocket, Maine. Stepdaughter Teresa Morrow of Olathe, KS. 12 grandchildren Zachary, Joe, Candice, Taylor, Brandon, Ashley, Sarah, Jeremy, Matt, Eric, Christy and Sara. 6 Nieces Sandra, Donna, Bonnie, Cindy, Vickie and Susan. 2 Nephews Russell and David.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Monday, December 30, 2013 in Grace Memorial Chapel with Pastor Roy Edwards officiating.
Casket Bearers will be Allen Popken, Vaughn Warren, Clyde Otipoby, Bud Fisher, Larry Meyers and Bill Pino.
Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery.
