Frances M. Waddell passed away April 13, 2017 in Ponca City, OK. She was 80 years of age. She was born on March 9, 1937 in Tucson, Arizona to John Wilbur Belcher and Helen Mae Shaw Belcher. Memorial Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 22, 2017 in the Grace Memorial Chapel with Rev. Don Stanton officiating. Interment will be held 2 p.m. Monday, April 24, 2017 in the Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery under the care of Grace Memorial Chapel. The family has asked donations in Frances' name be made to Hospice of North Central Oklahoma 445 Fairview Ave. Ponca City, OK 74601.

Frances attended school in Webb City, Oklahoma and she lived most of her life in Ponca City, OK. Frances married James Fred Maxwell on February 23, 1952 and together they built a life had three children, Becky, Wilbur and Kathy. Most important in her life was to make sure that her family was taken care of always. She was at her parent's side, husband Les Waddell, son, Wilbur and daughter Kathy while they were ill, until they passed away. She also took care of her daughter Becky while she was ill and recuperating from Kidney Transplant. Frances was also a seamstress for over 50 years at Gullett cleaners which is now Champi9on Cleaners and her own shop Frances Sewing Corner.

Survivors include: Daughter; Becky Gammill and husband Don of Edmond, OK; Daughter in Law: Sondra Maxwell of Ponca City, OK; son in law; Mitchell Starkey of Luther, OK; granddaughter; Stacy Boyette of Wellston, OK, grandsons; Bryan Gammill and wife Kristy of Edmond, OK, Bo Womack and wife Tara of Luther, OK, John Maxwell of Ponca City, OK, Johnny Starkey and Waylon Starkey both of Luther, OK. Great grandchildren; Sydney Gammill of OKC, OK Rhiannon Boyette of Wellston, OK Anna & Caleb Lynn of Edmond, OK, great grandsons: Wilbur Womack of Luther, OK and Liam Gammill of Edmond, OK.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Lester Waddell, Son; Wilbur Maxwell, daughter; Kathy Womack.
