Margarette Sanders, 87, beloved Mother, was called to her eternal resting place on April 30, 2019. She entered this world on August 22, 1931 in Ponca City, Oklahoma, born to John and Juanita Eaton.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2019 in the Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery under the care of Grace Memorial Chapel of Ponca City. Visitation will be held at Grace Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Margarette grew up in Kay county and graduated from high school in Ponca City. She met the love of her life Charles Sanders and they were married October 28, 1948 in Perry, OK and they made their first home in Stillwater, OK. They moved to Ponca City in the early 50s and she worked for Tonkawa meat processing for over 15 years and then Miller Market in the meat department for over 20 years. Margearette enjoyed spending time with her family, spoiling her grandchildren, working in her yard and reading.
Survivors include:2 daughters: Brenda Green and husband JR, Juanita DeHart, 1 son; Gordon Sanders all of Ponca City, OK, 1 brother; Richard Eaton and wife Colleen of Ponca City, OK 6 grandchildren; JC Bloomer, John DeHart and wife Becky, Bill DeHart, Shannon Wheeler and husband Patrick, Charles Sanders and wife Reanna and Donald Sanders all of Ponca City, OK. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren; Tiffany DeHart, Mykena Sanders, Chandler Sanders and Cryslin Sanders all of Ponca City, OK and several nieces and nephews.
Margarette was preceded in death by her parents, Husband Charles of 50 years and 1 daughter, Glenda "Tootsie" Sanders
