Cleda Arvilla Taylor Oertle passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 11, 2018 in Derby, Kansas. was born on May 8, 1933 in Hindsville, Arkansas to Orville Taylor and Mildred Ledbetter Taylor. married Harvey Oertle September 4, 1955. Cleda was employed as a CPA by the tax firm Lowrey, Courtright & Eubanks and then by the Conoco International Tax Department. husband, Don, was also employed at Conoco R&D.

Cleda was a dedicated Christian woman, attending the Hartford Avenue Church of Christ until she moved from Ponca City and began attending the Church of Christ in Derby, Kansas while living at the Glen Carr House. to sew and quilt, especially for loved ones and those in need. was a member of the PM Patches and Pieces Quilter’s Guild and volunteered for, for which she sewed bereavement items for pregnancy or child losses. also volunteered with numerous other organizations including the Hartford Avenue Church of Christ’s We Care Center.

Cleda is survived by: Jim Oertle and wife Darleen, Jan Finger and husband Ron, Barbie St. Aubin and husband Jeff. is also survived by her:Taylor, Mary Hargraves, Helen Horton, Kenneth Taylor, and Judy Mason. surviving“Grama” are Josh Couch and wife Amanda, Jesse Couch and wife Melanie, Amanda Oertle, Adrian Cook, Austin St. Aubin and wife Mallari, Dan St. Aubin, Kristin Haywood and husband Chris, Allison St. Aubin Gutierrez and husband Michael, Dillon Finger, and Taylor Finger.

Great-grandchildren include:
Joshua and Amanda’s children: Tyra, Jacob, and Joel
Jesse and Melanie’s children: Danielle, Nakeyah, Artise, Keith, Simona, Aaron, Malaqi, Jesse, Angelo, Nemo, Judah, Eden, and Andrew
Amanda’s child: Gavin
Adrian’s children: Mitchell and Max
Austin and Mallari’s child: Ainsley
Kristin and Chris’ children: Thomas, Benjamin, and Suzanna Rose


She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her great-grandchild, Eden Couch.

Services will be held on Monday, January 15, at the Hartford Avenue Church of Christ in Ponca City, Oklahoma. A memorial viewing is scheduled at 10:00 AM, with a funeral service following at 11:00 AM. Don Huddleston will be conducting the service, and arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory in Ponca City.
