Robert Hodges, 74, beloved Brother, and Uncle was called to his eternal resting place on August 28, 2020, in Marland. He entered this world on January 19, 1946, in Goodland, Kansas, born to Clyde E. and Freda M Benoit Hodges.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 2, 2020, at Grace Memorial Chapel of Ponca City with Pastor Mark Meador officiating. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 1, 2020, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Grace Memorial Chapel.
Robert served tour of duty for his country in the United States Army. During his early years Robert enjoyed riding horses, fishing, hunting and going to the Casino's. He was a member of the Carpenters Union, VFW, American Legion. He was a carpenter all his life and he retired in 2008 after 32 years in the carpenter’s union.
Those left behind to cherish his memories are his brother; Carl Hodges and wife Cathy of Manhattan, KS, Two sisters; Karen Rhoades and husband Jimmy, Patty Evans and husband Kenneth all of Marland, OK Nephew; Michael Rhoades, nieces ; Brandy McCandless, Tammy Polk, Wendy Hawk and Andrea Siler. Also surviving are several great nieces and great nephew.
Robert was preceded in death by his Parents; Clyde and Freda Hodges, 1 daughter; Toni Michelle Hodges and a niece; Carla Hodges.
