December 25, 1934 - September 16, 2020

Jack Harp, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2020. He was 85. A Graveside Ceremony will take place at 2pm, Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory. Viewing will be from 1:00 PM to 8:00PM, Sunday, September 20, 2020, and 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday, September 21, 2020, at Trout Funeral Home and Crematory. Those unable to attend the Graveside Ceremony may attend virtually on the Trout Funeral Home website, www.troutfuneralhome.com. Click on the “livestream” or tool bar icon on the top right corner after 1:45 PM.

Jack was born December 25, 1934 in Ponca City, OK the son of Marvin and Alma (Epps) Harp.

He attended Ponca City Schools through the ninth grade and High School in Sulphur, OK. On December 7, 1960 he was married to Merle F. Allen in Bartlesville, OK. Jack worked as wholesale milk salesman for Gold Spot Dairy for 27 years, retiring in 1990.

Jack enjoyed wood carving and fishing for the big ones.

Survivors include one daughter, Lisa Myers and husband John of Ponca City; grandchildren, Jack Wegner and his wife, Danielle, of Ponca City, Hattie Ray and her husband, Shelby, of Newkirk, Kimber Adams and her husband, Jake of Ponca City, Lane Myers of Ponca City; one great-grandchild, Colton Adams.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Merle, one daughter, Anita Wegner and parents, Marvin A. Harp & Alma G. Harp.
