Leroy William Dilbeck, 85, of Ponca City, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014 at his residence.

Leroy was born on August 9, 1929 in Roosevelt, OK to William Penn and Mattie Elsie Newport Dilbeck. Leroy entered the US Marine Corp on June 20, 1947 and was honorably discharged on June 19, 1950. He was married in 1951 and had 2 children Kay and Tipton. In 1978, he and Louise McGuire were married. He was an operating engineer in heavy construction retiring in 1995. He enjoyed his family, motorcycle riding, square dancing and camping.

Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers Levoy and James.

Leroy is survived by his wife Louise, 2 children Kay Weaver and her husband Ed of Webb City, Tipton Dilbeck and his wifeDebbie of Pauls Valley, OK. 2 Stepchildren James McGuire and his wifeJudy of Ponca City, Harvey McGuire and his wife Cecilia of Ralston, OK, 2 brothers Bill Dilbeck and his companion Sue of Pawhuska and Robert Dilbeck and his wifeMillie of Mesa, AZ. 5 Grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be 2 p.m., Friday, September 5, 2014 in Grace Memorial Chapel with Pastor Bill Bray officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery.

Casket Bearers will be Jared McGuire, John Chamberlin, Jimmy Strome, Darren Keller, Jeff Todish and Rusty Sober. Honorary Casket Bearers will be Melvin, Stone, Ray Todish Don Huff and Dennis Keller.
