Cathy M. Davis, resident of Ponca City, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at the age of 66.
Cathy was born April 19, 1949 in Ponca City, the daughter of Jesse D. Davis and Mary K. (Baker) Davis. Cathy attended the Ponca City Public Schools.
She had been employed with Lowe's of Ponca City for the past five years. Her enjoyments included spending time with her children and grandchildren, working in her yard and spending time with her animals. Cathy had served the children of Ponca City some 20 years as a school crossing guard, a service she enjoyed very much. The family would like to thank the Pink Heals Tour for coming and visiting Cathy, she enjoyed it very much and it made her day.
Survivors include her three children, Shelli Caldwell and husband Chris, of Ponca City, Christi Caldwell of Bartlesville, and Jesse Payne and wife Karen, of Ponca City; one sister, Joy Sanders of Ponca City; seven grandchildren, Kayla Ewing, Kelsey Caldwell, Michael Caldwell, Courtney Caldwell, Ali Caldwell, Austin Payne and Luke Payne; two great grandchildren JoJo Caldwell and Kory Ewing and two more great grandchildren on the way; one nephew, Todd Shepherd; other extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, October 26, 2015 at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery with Chaplain Mike Sweetman of Hospice of North Central Oklahoma presiding. Arrangements are under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.
Honorary casket bearers are her seven grandchildren and nephew Todd Shepherd.
