Lisa Annette Cross, 54, of Ponca City passed away Tuesday, August 6th, 2013 at Southwestern Regional Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  

Lisa was born February 28th, 1959 in Ponca City, the daughter of Harold and Shirley (Garrison) Sharpe. She grew up in the Ponca City area and attended Ponca City Public Schools.  

Lisa was married to Brian L. Cross, on July 28th, 1984 in an outdoor ceremony at Marland’s Grand Home. She was known by her friends and family as an avid NASCAR race fan, and for her love of arts and crafts, particularly paper crafting and stamping. Lisa was an active participant in a local women’s stamping group. Her biggest enjoyment was simply spending time with her family and friends, in particular her two grandchildren.

Lisa was preceded in death by her Mother and Stepfather; Shirley (Garrison) and Daniel Dyck.  

She is survived by her husband, Brian Cross of Ponca City: son, Matt Maudlin and his wife Heather of Spring, TX: grandchildren, Aubrey and Cooper Maudlin of Spring, TX: sister, Shawn Wyant of Ponca City: Uncle and Aunt, Charles and Rosa Garrison of Ponca City: Aunt, Glenda Garrison of Tonkawa: numerous cousins.  

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Central Baptist Church under the pastoral leadership of John Waterloo and Lynn Schuyler. Lisa will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Pat Silvy, Jeff Jones, Jimmy Mollet, John M. Chamberlin, Darryl Garrison, and Mark Evans.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to The Gateway for Cancer Research, 1336 Basswood Road, Schaumburg, IL 60173
