June 25, 1933 - July 7, 2018

Frances June Cooper passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at her home in Ponca City. A graveside ceremony for Frances will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Resthaven Memorial Park with Rev. April Coates officiating. Family will be available to greet friends at Trout Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Casketbearers will be: Doug Kiser, Curtis Adams, Salvadore Casique, Francisco Aguilar, Garrett Hannah, and Christopher Cooper.

Services are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory in Ponca City.

Frances was born in Beaman, MO, June 25, 1933 to Logan and Clara Siegel. She attended rural grade school, graduated from Smithton High School in 1951, and continued her schooling at Sedalia Business College in 1952. She was employed by Prudential Insurance Company in Sedalia, MO from 1952-1955. She then moved to Ponca City, OK in 1955 and was employed by Prudential Insurance Company from July 1955 until August 1963. On August 2, 1958 she married Rupert L. Cooper. They celebrated 56 years of marriage before he passed in May of 2015. She was a homemaker and stay-at-home mother until 1989 when she went to work part-time as a church secretary at Asbury United Methodist Church until 2016. She was a very active member in her church, serving on various committees, teaching Sunday School for many years, and an active member of the United Methodist Women's group. Frances enjoyed gardening and working in her flower beds and loved being involved with the church as much as possible. She was very dedicated to her family and loved every second she spent with those she loved. She truly lived life to the fullest everyday!

Survivors include son, David and wife Gaye Cooper, four grandchildren, Kayla and husband Francisco Aguilar of Ponca City, Christopher Cooper of Ponca City, Garrett Hannah of Hinton, OK and Lindsey Casique and husband Salvadore of Stillwater, six great grandchildren, Isaac Aguilar of Ponca City, Paisley and Presley Cooper of Ponca City, Gabriel, Gracianna, and Jonathan Casique all of Stillwater, brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Bonnie Siegel of Sedalia, MO, sister-in-law, Sue Wieser of San Francisco, CA and numerous nieces and nephews.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Rupert, parents, two sisters and one brother.
