Pat Allen, Ponca City resident, died Friday, July 17, 2009. He was 64. A celebration of his life will be held at 10am on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 in Blackwell at the First Christian Church with Pastor Jeff Koch officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Trout Funeral Home and Crematory.

Pat was born July 26, 1944, in Tulsa, to Woodrow and Willie Lucille Allen of Pryor, OK. He graduated from Richmond High School in California. Pat married Ruth Chitwood on May 18, 1991, at First Methodist Church in Ponca City. Ruth was his best friend and cherished by him and will be sorely missed. Pat and Ruth were baptized and attended the First Christian Church in Blackwell. Pat was a faithful believer with a heart of gold. Everyone that knew him loved him. He worked for many years at Miller Market and Albertson's Supermarket in Ponca City, OK. He was an avid member of the Schnooner Car Club, American Legion and Patriot Guard Riders. He had a passion for cars and entered many car shows. He enjoyed spending time riding motorcycles and found a way to support any cause that he felt passionate about. His number one priority was his family, which he loved unconditionally. He left a lasting legacy for all to remember and to be proud of. We are so proud to have known and loved him. A special thanks for all the prayers and support that was poured out from his friends, family and community.

He is survived by wife Ruth of Ponca City; brother: Mike Allen from Montana, Sons: Dean Allen and wife Kathy of Ponca City; Deon Allen of Stillwater; Robbie Chitwood and wife Tracy of Sapulpa, daughter: Teresa Jeffries and husband Allen of Broken Arrow. Proud Grandfather of Brad Meador and Charlie Daniel, Chip Meador, Deana Reid, Ryan Reid, Taylor Love, Madison Allen, Mason Allen, Jackson Allen, Austin Allen, Natosha Ast, Sheila Chitwood , Travis Chitwood, Justin Jeffries, Jeana Jeffries, and Kori Eslick. Great grandchildren: Mason Meador, Konner Reid, Kaegan Reid, Dawson Allen, Bonham Eslick, Tucker and Bodie Jeffries.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City, 4050 W. Memorial Rd., Oklahoma City, OK 73120.

Casket Bearers are Dave Tyler, Randy Worley, Moe Mothes, Allen Jeffries, Dave Albee, Ed Halverson, Skip Harris, and Frank Cain. Honorary casket bearers will be Robbie Chitwood, Bob Jorgenson, Dean Meador, Brad Meador, Chip Meador, Ryan Reid, Austin Allen, Jason Bales, and the Schooner Car Club.
