August 12, 1936 - December 24, 2024

Arlene Warner, 88, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, was called to her eternal resting place on December 24, 2024. She entered this world on August 12, 1936, in Kellerville, Texas, born to William B. Jester and Eunice L. Wood Jester.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 27, 2024, at Ranch Drive Baptist Church in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Dr. Robert Ryan and Pastor Jerry Hook will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery, under the care of Grace Memorial Chapel of Ponca City.

Arlene grew up in Shawnee, Oklahoma before moving to Ponca City, Oklahoma, in 1955. There, she met the love of her life, Robert L. Morford. They were married in 1957 and made their home in Ponca City, where they raised their family. Arlene enjoyed painting, watercolor and oil, makeup artistry, collecting antiques, crewel handwork, gardening and yard work. She was a dog and cat lover. She loved running her Merle Norman shop in Arkansas City, Kansas.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include her daughters, Lisa Eckels and Dana Morford, as well as her grandchildren Crystal Climer, Alicia Honeyman and Laci Koth and great grandchildren Macie and Axel Honeyman and brothers W.B Jester and George Jester.

Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, William B. Jester and Eunice L. Wood Jester, as well as her husband, Robert L. Morford, and Jannie Mathews, Karen Craykart, Connie Jester, Sally Ann Moore, Charles Beckham and Donna Beckham.

She will be remembered fondly by all who knew her for her love, kindness, and dedication to her family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones forever.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Humane Society and the Alzheimer's Association.
