Myrtle Louise Shelton
February 22, 1932 - September 18, 2024
Myrtle Louise Shelton, age 92, of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away on September 18, 2024, at Ascension St. John Medical Center, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A graveside service will be held at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Leon Veasey officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601.
Myrtle was born on February 22, 1932, in Whynot, Mississippi, to Horace and Francis (Shirley) Greene. She has lived in Ponca City since 1965 where her and her husband William (Bill) raised their family and were members of the First United Methodist Church.
Myrtle is preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Francis Greene and husband, William Shelton. Myrtle is survived by her daughters Sheryl Million with her husband Mike Million, Shelley Wilson with her husband Jody Wilson. Also, surviving are four grandchildren, Wedge O’Malley, Michaela Million with her husband Kenneth Million, Ryan Wilson, Kyle Wilson and one great granddaughter Sydney O’Malley.
