Luella Ann Reyes
August 30, 1934 - July 23, 2024
Luella Hutchinson-Reyes, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at the age of 89. Luella was born on August 30, 1934, in Arkansas City, Kansas and graduated from Ponca City High School. Throughout her life, she touched the hearts of many with her kindness and warmth.
In addition to raising three children, Luella worked diligently in various jobs, including her role on the assembly line at the Elgin Watch Company in Lincoln, Nebraska, where she helped make timers for bombs. Her friendly nature and amiable demeanor earned her the love and admiration of all who knew her. She was known for her beauty, both inside and out, and her presence brought joy to those around her.
Luella is survived by her loving husband, Al Reyes, her three children: Anthony Womack, Connie West, and Bonnie Chamberlain, seven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. Her legacy of love and compassion will live on through the generations of her family.
Officiated by Reverend Stephen Johnson, the service will provide an opportunity for family and friends to come together to remember and cherish the memories of a remarkable woman who left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Luella Hutchinson-Reyes will forever be remembered for her gentle spirit, unwavering love, and the legacy of kindness she leaves behind. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love of those she held dear.
