Sharon Louise (Neal) McNutt
November 20, 1940 ~ April 18, 2022 (age 81)

Sharon Louise (Neal) McNutt, 81, went to sing and dance with her Lord and Savior April 18, 2022. Sharon was born on November 20, 1940, in Pitcher, Oklahoma, to her proud parents Roy and Blanche Neal. She married her high school sweetheart W. M. "Yogi" McNutt on December 23, 1959.

With her many years of community work through First Baptist Church of Ponca City, Sharon truly blessed many people. She was a member there for 35 years and a member of the hospitality committee for over 20 years. In her younger years, Sharon enjoyed fishing, camping, going to the lake, boating, snow skiing, and riding 4-wheelers, and playing in the sun. In her later years Sharon very much enjoyed time with her family who she loved unconditionally and was very supportive of them and gave wise advice when it was asked of her. She also enjoyed helping at her church when she could.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter Michele "Micki" McNutt, brother and sister-in-law Roy and Janet Neal, grandchildren Carson, Carl, and Calvin Corbett, son-in-law Tracy Corbett, nephew Robert, wife Lauren and great niece Lillian Neal of Bartlesville.

She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Blanche, husband, W. M. "Yogi" McNutt in February 1998 and his parents Pauline "Polly" McNutt and Elmer "Red" McNutt and her daughter Heather Corbett in December 2012.

Viewing for Mrs. McNutt will be at Grace Memorial Chapel on Wednesday April 27, with family present for receiving friends from 5-7pm. In lieu of flowers the family would prefer memorial contributions be made to Northern Oklahoma Humane Society at located at: 900 W Prospect Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601, (580)767-8877. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. at Resthaven Cemetery with a celebration of life to follow at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church on Thursday, April 28, 2022, in Ponca City with Pastor Andy Taylor presiding and Grace Memorial Chapel providing arrangements.
