Brian Leatherman
October 26, 1966 - February 7, 2024
Brian Gregory Leatherman, 58, of Ponca City, OK, passed away on February 7, 2024, after a long, hard battle with colorectal cancer. A Graveside Ceremony will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, February 9, 2024, with Chaplain Justin Pickup officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK, 74601.
Brian was born on October 26, 1966, in Escanaba, MI. Most of his life was spent in Ponca City, OK, and Newkirk, OK.
Brian is survived by: his mother, Wilma Chandler of Moore, OK; brother, Barry Leatherman of Newkirk, OK; and sister, Jensi Leatherman of Nashville, TN. Brian is preceded in death by: his father, Jon Leatherman; grandparents, Betty and Dail McVay; and grandparents, Mary Ruth and Robert Leatherman. Rest in Peace, Brian. Your battle is over.
Wilma cannot begin to thank Hospice of North Central Oklahoma and the nurses and aides at Ponca City Nursing and Rehab Center. They took wonderful care of Brian. Each and everyone of them is an "Angel" in scrubs. Wilma could not have made it without their care and support during this sad time.
