November 13, 1946 - July 31, 2023

Claudia Sue (Waugh) Jorgenson died Monday, July 31, 2023, at her home with her family by her side in Ponca City, OK. She was 76.

A burial of her urn will be held Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Resthaven Memorial Park in Ponca City, OK. Following the burial, a memorial service will be held Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 1:00 PM, at First Christian Church, 210 N 5th St, Ponca City, OK 74601, with Reverend Niki Jorgenson officiating.

Claudia was born on November 13, 1946, to James Dean and Wilma Bernice (Zink) Waugh in Emporia, KS. She graduated from Po-Hi in 1965 and went on to attend one year at NOC Business School. On November 7, 1965, she married the love of her life and high school sweetheart, Bobby Dale Jorgenson, and to this union, had three children: Tina Marie, Troy Don, and Niki Dawn.

She worked as a registered optometric technician throughout her life. In her free time, she was her daughters' biggest cheerleader, attending every softball game and dance recital, and staying up late to wash their uniforms. She also loved to scrapbook and spend time with her grandkids. She was also a faithful member of First Christian Church.

Claudia is preceded in death by her parents; son Troy Don Jorgenson; dear friend and mother-in-law Ethel Jorgenson; son-in-law Cannan Harris; brothers-in-law Paul Jorgenson, Jackie Jorgenson, and Bob Rogers; and sister-in-law Sharon Rogers.

She is survived by her husband Bobby Dale Jorgenson; daughter Tina Marie Jorgenson Bower and husband Christopher of Broken Arrow, OK; daughter Niki Dawn Jorgenson of Wheat Ridge, CO; grandchildren Cameron Christopher Bower, Bailey Nicole Bower, of Broken Arrow, OK, and Ezekiel Harris, and Eden Dawn Harris of Wheat Ridge, CO; sister Linda McGee and her daughter Wendy of White Deer, TX; and many nieces and nephews.
