Ronald "Ron" Havens
January 31, 1938 - December 9, 2024

Ronald “Ron” G. Havens passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024, at his home in Ponca City at the age of 86. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Central Baptist Church. Pastor Lynn Schuyler will officiate the service. Ron will be laid to rest at Rest Haven Memorial Park following the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601.

Ron was born on January 31, 1938, in Okesa, OK, to Bruce E. Havens and Olga (Boyinton) Havens. The younger of 2 boys, he attended Bartlesville High School. In his younger days, he enjoyed rodeo events and bull riding. Ron and Joy were married on November 17th, 1977. Ron was a member of Central Baptist Church. Ron was happy living in the country, taking care of his yard, along with spending time with his family and animals. Ron was a truck driver most of his life.

Ron is survived by: his wife of 47 years, Joy; his daughters, Laura Arrington and husband, Kevin, and Robin Havens of Ponca City. Ron had four grandchildren: Ricky Nelson, Leah Crowell, Levi Biddle and Noah Marquez; along with nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and his brother, Robert Havens of Bartlesville. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sons, R.G. Havens and Bruce Havens.
