February 9, 1928 - December 28, 2024
Robert Eugene Creech, 96, of Blackwell, OK, died on Saturday, December 28, 2024. A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at Trout Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Stephen Johnson officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK, 74601.
Robert was born on Thursday, February 9, 1928, in Rogers, Arkansas, to Lennis Eugene and Lura Mable (Todd) Creech. After graduating high school, Robert joined the US Army. He married Sue Ann (Fish) on June 10, 1949 in Ponca City, Oklahoma. He retired from Conoco in 1983, as a chemical analyst.
Robert loved growing a garden, which consistently had an abundance of yellow squash, zucchini, and many, many tomatoes. He enjoyed going to garage sales and loved to fish. Robert had a passion for collecting cameras. Robert was a member of the First Christian Church, and Rock Hounds (Oklahoma Mineral and Gem Society).
Robert is survived by: daughter, Nicki Drager of Ponca City, OK; son, Mike Creech and his wife, Mary, of Blackwell, OK; daughter, Robin Creech-Smith and her husband, Ron, of Ponca City, OK; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Sue Riley of Carl Junction, MO; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members. He was preceded in death by: his wife, Sue Ann; son, Harry Creech; parents, Lennis and Mable; and sister, Yvonne Edwards.
