Lynne Patrice Chanslor
April 13, 1960 - March 12, 2022

A third generation descendant of Oklahoma's Typical Pioneer Woman, Ollie Magdeline Butler, Lynne Patrice Chanslor passed away Saturday 03/12/22. She was 61 years old. Graduating from Ponca City High School in 1978, Lynne won several awards in orchestra and drama in both the State and National levels. She also starred in many roles at NOC and the Ponca Playhouse. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601.

After Ponca City opened the Marland Mansion, Lynne enjoyed her job with a passion as tour guide in the 1970's which began her path in the hospitality industry. Lynne's journey took her to many exciting places where she lived including New Orleans, LA, Key West, FL, and Reno and Las Vegas, NV. Her proudest achievement was designing and running C C Ryders, a piano bar on the popular Duval Street in Key West from 1993 to 1996. Lynne loved her animals and cared for several dachshunds, tortoises, and bunny over the years. She and her cherished Miggy have been reunited and will lay to rest with each other.

Lynne is survived by her sister Cheryl Chanslor, brother David Chanslor, step-mother Carolyn Chanslor, step-sisters Cheri Rowland and Alicia Liegerot, all of Ponca City. She also has many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother Patricia Louise Krider-Chanslor, father Jim Chanslor, brother John Chanslor, and step-brother Mark Liegerot. Honorary casketbearers are David Chanslor, Andy Krider, Michael Chanslor and Tony Waggerman.

Services will be held Saturday, 03/19/22 at 12:30 PM at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 2800 Turner St., Ponca City, OK with Stuart Milligan, Elder of Pioneer Bible Church officiating.
