Chuck Bell
November 28, 1952 - March 10, 2024

On March 10th, 2024, Charles "Chuck" Allen Bell went to be with his heavenly Father at the age of 71. There will be a private celebration of life with burial at Resthaven Cemetery in Ponca City, with a picnic to follow at Willow Springs Park on Saturday, March 23, 2024. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 E. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK, 74601.

Chuck was born in Kansas City, Missouri on November 28th, 1952. He was raised in Ponca City by his parents Doyle and Cecil Bell. He later moved to Edmond, Oklahoma where he graduated from Ponca City High School. He went on to graduate from Central State University with a bachelors degree in psychology and a masters degree in clinical psychology. He worked in the mental health field as a licensed behavioral therapist for decades.

Chuck was an avid baseball player, coach, and fan. One of his proudest moments was assistant coaching the Cleveland Indians farm team in Kinston, North Carolina. His faith was very important to him. He knew the Bible through and through and had a verse for every life moment. He loved new learning and up until the time of his death, he was still actively learning Hebrew.

Chuck was passionate about music and played in many bands throughout his life as a guitarist and keyboarder. He seemed to always have a tune on his heart and encouraged others in learning instruments. He loved the outdoors and would use every opportunity he could to be in nature. He was very proud of his children and grandchildren.

Chuck is survived by: his children, Andrea Harl, Micah Bell, Kera Bell, and Jordan Morton, who he had with Sandra Sawyer. He is also survived by: his grandchildren, Aiden Harl, Isabella Harl, Kianne Bell, Adelynn Bell, Henry Morton, Hannah Morton, and Emily Morton. He is preceded in death by his mother, Doyle Bell, father, Cecil Bell, and brother, Dick Bell.
