Nieman Roy longtime resident of Ponca City and White Eagle, OK passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017 in Ponca City, OK he was 81 years of age. Nieman was born on April 22, 1935 in Ponca City, OK to Marcus and Ella FourBear Roy.

Traditional services were held Saturday January 28, 2017 in the Ponca Indian United Methodist Church with Pastor Jim White officiating. Interment followed in the Ponca Indian Cemetery with arrangements in care of Grace Memorial Chapel of Ponca City, OK. Nieman served in the U.S. National Guard and he was a television repairman for several years. He enjoyed watching sports, yard work, attending traditional Dances and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include: 1 SON; Tommy Roy of Kansas; 2 daughters; Sylvia Rhodd and Debra M. Warrior both of Ponca City, OK 12 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 granddaughter: Casey Rhodd and 2 great grandchildren; Kaw-liga Harvey and Kiden Harvey.
