It is with great sadness that the family of Kathleen ''Kat'' Laraine Pappan announces her passing on Saturday, July 1st, 2017 at the age of 52 years.

Born February 14th, 1965 in Pawnee, OK to Charles ''K.O.'' Bahgee Pappan and Charlotte Redeye Pappan.

She attended Riverside Indian School and went on to achieve certification as a Nurse Aide. Later, Kathleen appeared in the North and South: Heaven or Hell TV mini-series, box office movie, Last of the Dogmen, and also served as an emergency fire fighter. ''Kat'' was a loving mother and grandmother, a proud member of the Native American Church and also the Baptist Church. Her joys in life included helping others, spending time with family and friends, gardening, beadwork, music, writing, going on road-trips and art.

Preceded in death by her grandfather Baptiste Pappan, paternal grandmother Effie Hairyback Pappan , maternal grandmother Eliza Button Redeye and Champlin Redeye maternal grandfather . father Charles Pappan and brother Champlin Pappan. Kathleen is survived by her mother, Charlotte Pappan; sister's Camela Pappan and Kimberly Pappan; brother's Clinton Pappan, Elroy Pappan, Charlie Pappan, twin brother's Victor and Nickolas Pappan; daughter's Tutti Heminokeky and Delores Sandoval; grandchildren Logan Sandoval, Delilah Sandoval and Leelo Sandoval; animal companion, ''Kreeper.'' And many loving nieces and nephews

The Wake Service is Saturday, July 8th at 7 p.m. Funeral Service will be Sunday, July 9th at 2 p.m. Location: Ponca Baptist Church. The traditional Ponca feast will be served noon Sunday at the Ponca Cultural Center.
